Productivity Places Program

Smart City Vocational College is currently offering a variety of courses as part of the Productivity Places Program. Our Horticulture courses are available Australia wide to eligible applicants, and our Business and Hospitality courses are available to eligible Queensland job seekers.

Horticulture

Our horticulture courses are delivered via distance learning and are available Australia wide. To be eligible for this program, applicants must be:

Over 15 years of age
An Australian citizen or permanent resident
A Queensland resident
Not a full-time student
Registered with an Employment service provider or not currently working and seeking paid employment
Living in, or able to attend classes in Rockhampton or the Sunshine Coast

Horticulture qualifications available in this program are:

RTF20103 Certificate II in Horticulture
RTF30103 Certificate III in Horticulture

^Please note that these qualifications are available via distance, however participants must live in the Rockhampton and Sunshine Coast Regional Council areas to be eligible.

Business

Our Business courses are available to eligible Rockhampton and Sunshine Coast residents. To be eligible for this program, applicants must be:

Over 15 years of age
An Australian citizen or permanent resident
A Queensland resident
Not a full-time student
Registered with an Employment service provider or not currently working and seeking paid employment
Living in, or able to attend classes in Rockhampton or the Sunshine Coast

Business qualifications available in this program are:

BSB20107 Certificate II in Business
BSB30107 Certificate III in Business
BSB30407 Certificate III in Business Administration
BSB40207 Certificate IV Business

Hospitality

Our Hospitality course is delivered via classroom delivery and a minimum of 8 participants is required for a class to commence. This is available to eligible Queensland residents in locations where it is possible to run a class. To be eligible for this program, applicants must be:

Over 15 years of age
An Australian citizen or permanent resident
A Queensland resident
Not a full-time student
Registered with an Employment service provider or not currently working and seeking paid employment
Living in, or able to attend classes in Rockhampton or the Sunshine Coast

Hospitality qualifications available in this program are:

SIT20207 Certificate II in Hospitality
